The increase in vacation travel is resulting in higher ticket prices for flights

As vacations and flights return, vacations and travel are increasing and creating higher ticket prices for flights.

Delta tickets are particularly increasing due to full and few flights.

Despite the increase in price, it isn’t stopping people from taking vacations, especially out of New York where travel was especially difficult during the pandemic.

As travel returns, some flights are still recovering from the setbacks they endured due to the pandemic.

Some airlines aren’t back to the normal number of planes or pilots, and as they continue to recover more flights will be added.

TSA staff have been brought back, so wait times aren’t slower than normal.

With Delta and Allegiant airlines not operating at 100% yet, the projected date to see normal travel like before the pandemic is by the end of 2022.

Federal Covid-19 restrictions still apply at airports.
