The history of the electric car

The first electric car was built in the 1880s by a man named Thomas Parker. He had been inspired by watching trains and wanted to invent something that would replace horses on farms. The problem is, no one could afford his invention because it cost $600! It wasn’t until years later when Henry Ford invented the Model T that people could actually buy affordable cars. This sparked a revolution for transportation around the world – but it took another 100 years before we saw electric cars take off in popularity.

Tesla revolutionized the Electric Car

In 2003, Elon Musk and Tesla revolutionized the whole idea of an electric car. With their creation, they had a vehicle that was both affordable and stylish – something people weren’t used to in an EV at the time. Then in 2008, Audi became one of the first major automakers to start producing a fully-electric Avant Quattro model for sale!

Mercedes has also made a few electric cars, but it’s not until now that they have a Tesla competitor. However, the main problem with electric cars is how quickly their batteries deplete through use.

The newest car from Mercedes has solved this issue by adding an engine to supplement power when necessary – and it seems like Audi will soon follow suit!

We can’t wait for more of these awesome innovations in the coming years!

Who is Elon Musk?

Elon Musk is an American billionaire, engineer, and inventor who made his fortune from the online payments company PayPal. He was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and moved to Canada when he was 17 with the intention of transferring to a U.S university but became a resident instead after applying for citizenship. His first two ventures were Zip² which developed and marketed an Internet city guide for the newspaper publishing industry, then later X.com which eventually merged with Confinity inc., acquiring his other venture; PayPal. Tesla is one of Elon’s newest companies that design electric cars – their most popular model being the Model S EV sedan

Audi has been making some great innovations themselves by adding features like Audi AI traffic jam assist so when you get stuck in traffic, the car takes over.

What makes Tesla the best electric car?

Elon Musk is one of the reasons Tesla has been a successful electric car company. He cares about his customers and he wants to make sure they are happy. He even created the Tesla Referral Code program to give people an option to get free charging if they referred friends and family to Tesla. Elon doesn’t want any compromises for the customer’s satisfaction, such as making their cars look good or have enough range on battery power that they can meet your needs.

Tesla took over General Motors (GM) as America’s most valuable automaker among publicly traded companies at $51 billion dollars according to Forbes reports from June 2017. This was due largely to increased production output which saw its stocks rise by more than 50% since early January; GM trailed behind.
