Takeout alcoholic beverages extended until July 5th

Alcoholic beverages will still be available for takeout until July 5.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a 30-day extension on Saturday that allows for the pickup and delivery of alcoholic beverages from bars, according to an article published for Syracuse.com.

The waiver allowing take out alcoholic beverages has been in place since March of 2020 when restaurants were forced to close. While restaurants have since been allowed to open, Cuomo has continued to extend the alcoholic drinks to-go rule.
