Mercy Flight Central has faced challenges due to the pandemic.
Jeff Bartkoski, the President and CEO of the Canandaigua-based air ambulance service says flights were down with people shuttering themselves during the early stages of the pandemic.
They were ready when the Covid related calls for service began to rise. They had all the PPE and supplies needed for these types of calls.
Now that the pandemic is easing, Mercy Flights has resumed its fundraising to keep the helicopters running.
