Sheriff Kevin Henderson reports the arrest of a 29-year-old Manchester man on felony charges after a drug investigation.
Zachary Renner, 29, of Manchester was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, as a felony, with intent to sell.
On May 28, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit executed a search warrant on Renner’s residence. During that search, investigators located 40 bags of Fentanyl, which were packaged for sale, along with other suspected narcotics and packaging materials.
Renner was arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office earlier that day for a felony criminal possession of a controlled substance charge there.
He was taken into custody in Ontario County upon release in Seneca.
At the time of the arrest, which took place last week, Renner was awaiting trial for the same charge after an arrest on February 1, 2021. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Canandaigua Police Department, and Geneva Police Department.
