The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office says a Bradford man was taken into custody after a loud explosion was investigated on Thursday.
Matthew Alexandrovich, 29, was charged with disorderly conduct after 911 received several reports and emergency calls for a loud explosion. The explosion was reportedly heard as far away as the town of Reading.
It happened around 8 p.m., and deputies say there were no injuries reported. However, after investigation, they learned that Alexandrovich shot a bag of Tannerite causing a loud explosion.
He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
