Do you need to get a COVID test if you’ve been vaccinated?
The answer is both ‘yes’ and ‘no’.
Under most circumstances, the CDC says people are free to skip the COVID test if they’ve been vaccinated. The routine testing that was common before mass vaccination is largely unnecessary at this point.
That said, those who are exposed and have a fever, cough and fatigue should still get tested.
The CDC says vaccinated people can also be excluded from routine workplace screening, though many companies aren’t tracking employees’ vaccination status.
