Officials in the Auburn Enlarged City School District expect COVID restrictions to be in place through the remainder of the school year.
Superintendent Jeff Pirozzolo tells Finger Lakes News Radio that they are just happy students are back in the classroom.
“We don’t see spread in the schools,” Pirozzolo told FLNR. “Spread is happening when students are at home.” He said that getting students back in the classroom was an important step for everyone in the community.
Right now the district is moving through the process of evaluating the next school year- and challenges that will undoubtedly arise through it- as students and community get back into the flow of a ‘normal’ year.
