A local volunteer was honored with a tree in front of Thompson Hospital this week.
Shirley Miller has been giving back to Thompson Health for 26 years. Altogether, she’s given back thousands of hours to the community and organization.
During the pandemic she gave back to the Canandaigua Emergency Squad- helping out as a secretary there. The change was caused by the pandemic restrictions at Thompson Hospital.
The weeping cherry tree that sits outside Thompson’s foundation office is in her honor.
