Voters in the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District approved the 2021-22 district budget (330 yes votes to 81 no votes) on Tuesday, May 18.
The budget totals $43,521,000 with a 1.69% tax levy increase.
Voters also approved (347 yes votes to 63 no votes) the expenditure of Bus Purchase Reserve funds not to exceed $139,000 for the purchase of vehicles for student transportation.
Additionally, Chad Lindstrom, Amy Boesel and Christine Cole were elected to the Pal-Mac Board of Education by voters to fill three board vacancies. Each seat is for a 3-year term. Cole is a current board member and will retain her seat while Lindstrom and Boesel will replace outgoing board members Sharon Lang and Bill Toomey who did not seek re-election.
