The Syracuse men’s lacrosse team lost 22-8 at Notre Dame on Saturday.
‘Cuse jumped out to a 2-0 lead, a held a lead of 4-3 early in the second quarter, but Notre Dame scored 19 of the next 22 goals to roll at Arlotta. Pat Kavanaugh did most of the damage for the Irish, with 10 points.
Syracuse was led by Tucker Dordevic, who scored twice and added an assist. Owen Hiltz (2-0), Peter Dearth and Jamie Trimboli (1-1) also had multi-point days.
Syracuse will return home on Friday, May 7, when the team hosts Robert Morris at 4 p.m. That game will be broadcast on ACC Network.
