Geneva man charged with aggravated DWI after crash at busy intersection

Deputies report the arrest of a 68-year-old Geneva resident following a property damage crash at the intersection of State Routes 414 and 318.

Robert Westcott, 68, was charged with aggravated DWI after failing to maintain his lane- striking a street sign.

He submitted to a breath test, which revealed that his BAC at the time was more than twice the legal limit.

He was ticketed and will answer the charges at a later date.
