Deputies: Waterloo man charged after violating court order, possessing crack cocaine

Deputies say that on March 21 around 9 p.m. deputies responded to a complaint involving the violation of a court order in Tyre.

Mitchell Sikes, 57, of Waterloo was found to be in violation of a court order of protection.

Deputies located Sikes at the residence of the protected party. Through investigation, he was found to also be in possession of crack cocaine.

He was taken into custody and charged with contempt and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Sikes was brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
