Seneca Falls man faces felony charges after child abuse investigation

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a 47-year-old following a report of child abuse.

According to police, Adam Christensen, 47, of Seneca Falls is accused of subjecting three children; a 10-year-old and two 7-year-olds to multiple instances of excessive physical contact- and threats of further injury.

He was charged with aggravated family offense, a felony; three counts of endangering the welfare of a child; two counts of harassment; and one count of coercion.

Christensen was held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. The charges will be answered at a later date.
