Two major construction projects part of the $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative are going to be getting underway soon in Geneva.
The Route 5&20 Corridor Reconfiguration project has been advertised, as well as the Downtown Streetscape Project. They are largely being funded by the DRI win in 2016.
The two projects are being bid together, as one, according to Joe Venuti, Director of Public Works.
The bids will likely fall in the $6 to $10 million range, according to reporting by the Finger Lakes Times.
Construction could begin as soon as June, and both projects are aimed at making Geneva a more walkable community.
