Huntington Living Center had to suspend visitation again, less than two weeks after resuming it.
There have been two more confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the facility in Waterloo.
Two staff members tested positive, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
A letter to family members from Huntington’s administrator explained the situation.
“We recognize that communication with your loved ones is incredibly important and encourage you to communicate with them in other ways such as telephones, video chat, window visits or social media,” Karol Prayne said.
Visitation resumed on February 26. According to Laura Turbide, a spokesperson for Finger Lakes Health who spoke with the Finger Lakes Times, these two cases are the first COVID-19 cases of 2021.
The highly-publicized outbreak that was covered extensively by FingerLakes1.com earlier this year happened during the months of November and December.
