Driver, baby both hospitalized after rollover crash on Rt. 104; speeding said to be cause

New York State Police say a Fairport man was taken into custody after a crash in Webster on Tuesday.

It happened around 9:20 a.m. on Rt. 104 near the Holt Road exit.

Timothy Cody, 36, was driving too fast and had a six-month-old inside the vehicle with him at the time of the crash.

The vehicle went off the road, hit a guardrail, and flipped over, according to troopers.

Both Cody and the baby were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

He was ticketed and faces a number of charges.
