Andy Brown has resigned from his post in the Waterloo Highway Department.
He officially resigned from his water and sewer maintainer job with the town’s highway department on Monday, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
The resignation was effective January 13.
Brown challenged in court for years that he could do both that job, as well as the elected job he won as Fayette Town Highway Superintendent. He was reinstated and ordered to be paid for back pay and benefits.
At this point, Brown is in the final year of his first term as Fayette highway superintendent.
