IRS says tax credit available for those who didn’t get stimulus checks

The IRS has provided a resource on their website for those who did not receive the COVID Impact payments that went out to Americans that make less than $75,000.

If you didn’t receive the spring payment, which was part of the CARES Act, then a tax credit is available.

While the IRS won’t begin accepting tax returns until February 12th due to the pandemic and stimulus payments that are still going out – tax experts say it’s a good idea for those who didn’t receive their payment to start planning ahead.

The IRS also has a tracking tool for second stimulus payments, which went out earlier this month. Those payments stopped going out as of January 15th.
