Deputies say a Wolcott man is facing a number of charges after a property damage crash on Herbst Road in Lyons.
It happened on Friday around 11 p.m. when deputies were called to the scene of a crash. A vehicle, which was operated by Noah Burke, 22, of Wolcott, served off the road and ended up in a ditch.
Upon investigation it was determined that Burke was intoxicated. He was subsequently charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation – as a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Burke was found to be in possession of a small quantity of cocaine, deputies said. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where a breath test determined his BAC 0.21% at the time of the crash.
The charges will be answered in local court at a later date.
