Police: Unregistered gun, two high capacity magazines discovered after domestic in Seneca Falls

Police in Seneca Falls say an unregistered handgun and ammunition was discovered after a domestic incident.

On Thursday around 2:45 p.m. police arrested James Querrie, 28, of Seneca Falls following a domestic incident.


Queerie is accused of choking a woman in the presence of children. Following an investigation police recovered an unregistered handgun, and two high-capacity magazines.

He was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of criminal obstruction of breathing, one count of criminal mischief, one count of criminal possession of a firearm, one count of criminal possession of a weapon, and two counts of unlawful possession of large capacity ammunition feeding device.

He was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
