The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Waterloo man following a pistol permit investigation.
Sheriff Tim Luce says Steven Marquart, 41, of Waterloo was charged with two counts of second-degree forgery and offering a false instrument for filing. He was also charged with making a false written statement.
Marquart is accused of forging his reference signatures on his pistol permit. During the incident he signed a document verifying that all information was accurate.
