Syracuse receiver Nykeim Johnson will transfer to Kent State to play out his final season under former SU assistant coach Sean Lewis.
Johnson announced his new school Friday night.

Johnson, a senior from Washington, D.C., elected to take advantage of special NCAA legislation granting fall athletes an extra year of eligibility because of the novel coronavirus. Johnson has one season of eligibility remaining.
