Josh Allen, Cole Beasley, Tre’Davious White and Andre Roberts named second team All-Pro

Bills quarterback Josh Allen, wide receiver Cole Beasley, cornerback Tre’Davious White and returner/wide receiver Andre Roberts were all named second team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

Allen and Beasley have earned All-Pro recognition for the first time in their careers. White (2019) and Roberts (2018) have both been named first team All-Pro once before.

Allen finished the regular season with 396 completions (4th) for 4,544 passing yards (5th) and scored 46 total touchdowns. The third-year quarterback completed 69.2% of his passes (4th) and had a 107.2 passer rating (4th). Allen set several single-season franchise records including total touchdowns (46), passing touchdowns (37), total yards (4,977), passing yards (4,544), passer rating (107.2), completions (396), completion percentage (69.2%) and 300-yard games (8).

Allen is the first player in NFL history with at least 4,500 passing yards, 35 touchdown passes and five rushing touchdowns in a single season. The QB improved his passer rating by +21.9 from 2019 to 2020. Per NFL Media Research, that’s the sixth largest improvement by a quarterback playing in their first three seasons since 1970.

Beasley finished 2020 totaling 82 receptions for 967 receiving yards and adding four touchdowns. The wide receiver posted career highs in receptions and receiving yards. Beasley and Stefon Diggs (first-team All-Pro) are the first Bills receiver duo with at least 900 receiving yards in the same season since Eric Moulds and Peerless Price in 2002.

White led the Bills with three interceptions and 11 passes defensed. He also recorded 1.5 sacks, 57 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and three quarterback hits. The corner led the NFL last season with six interceptions and earned first-team All-Pro.

Roberts finished the season with 961 kick return yards (2nd) and 286 punt return yards (5th). He led the NFL averaging 30 yards per kick return. Roberts earned first-team All-Pro in 2018.
