A Canandaigua man was arrested Monday morning after crashing during a police investigation in the Town of Junius.
Deputies took Jonathan Malaney into custody around 11:30 a.m. on May 12. He faces a felony charge of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, according to Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson.
Authorities said the arrest followed a motor vehicle accident in Junius that occurred during an official police investigation. Malaney was found to be intoxicated at the scene and charged accordingly.
He was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Junius Town Court to answer the charges.
