The Yankees have signed RHP Matt Bowman to a minor-league deal, Cincinnati Enquirer’s Bobby Nightengale reported Monday night.
Former #Reds pitcher Matt Bowman, who had Tommy John surgery in September, signed a 2-year minor-league contract with the Yankees. He’ll make $900k if he’s in the big leagues in 2021 or 2022.

Bowman last pitched for the Cincinnati Reds in 2019 before undergoing Tommy John surgery this past September. He previously spent three seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals.
For his career, Bowman has a 4.02 ERA and a 7-13 record over the course of 183 games played. He’s struck out 149 batters and walked 62 in 181.1 innings on the mound.
