President-elect Joe Biden has chosen Pete Buttigieg to serve as transportation secretary in his administration.
The Former South Bend, Indiana mayor and 2020 presidential candidate will be nominated for one of the top posts in the Biden administration.

Former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo were all considered for the post.
