Assemblyman Gary Finch has been hospitalized with COVID-19 for some time. Despite the fact that he may be released later this week, his message to residents in the region remains unchanged.
“You can get this and the disease goes along at one level,” Finch told The Auburn Citizen. “And then it makes a sudden change.” He had a setback over the weekend, developing a cough and vomiting.
Health professionals say unpredictability of the virus is a major challenge. For Finch, he remains unchanged in his view that everyone should be taking it seriously.
He is currently receiving care at Upstate University Hospital.
