Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its first location in Canandaigua.
It includes a ‘Chipotlane’ which is a drive-thru pickup lane that allows customers to pick-up digital orders without leaving their cars.
Guests who order via the Chipotle App or Chipotle.com can measure the individual impact of their go-to order on the environment.
“Real Foodprint” is Chipotle’s sustainability tracker, which measures orders for less carbon in the atmosphere, water saved, improved soil health, organic land supported, and antibiotics avoided.
For guests who want to give back, Chipotle is also leveraging its app and website as a donation platform.
Donate to The Farmlink Project, a nonprofit that connects farms with food banks to feed those in need while supporting essential jobs by rounding up their bill to the next highest dollar through the Round Up for Real Change feature in the Chipotle app or on the website.
Chipotle also makes it easy to fundraise for local causes with events that give back 33%. Brand-new digital fundraiser codes increase fundraiser access for customers who prefer to digitally order ahead; they simply enter the unique code and then pick up and carry out from the participating restaurant.
