Freshman running back Sean Tucker is the ACC Running Back of the Week for the second time this season, after sharing the honor with Notre Dame’s Kyren Williams this week.
Tucker became the first player to rush for over 100 yards against Notre Dame this season, when he carried the ball 24 times for 113 yards and a touchdown. He also caught two passes out of the backfield for 46 yards receiving.

His effort paced the ‘Cuse offense to record a season-high 229 yards rushing and 414 yards of total offense.
He caps his rookie season with 626 rushing yards, the third-most of any freshmen in Orange history, trailing Syracuse all-time leading rusher Joe Morris (1,001) and Delone Carter (713). Doing so in just nine games, his average of 69.6 yards per game is second by a ‘Cuse rookie to Morris’ 90 yards per game. He and Morris are also the only two freshmen in program history to record three-or-more 100 yard games in a season.
