The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation of a two-car crash that happened in the area of State Rotue 441 and Gananda Parkway in the town of Walworth.
One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after the wreck, according to deputies. They say it happened on Wednesday a little before 7 p.m.
Alex Bolt, 23, of Albany was traveling west on Route 441, attempting to turn left onto Gananda Parkway when a second vehicle, operated by Katrina Lagendyk, 25, of Marion was traveling east on Route 441.
Bolt’s vehicle failed to yield while making the turn resulting in the two cars to collide. Lagendyk reported wrist and neck pain and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital via Western Wayne Ambulance.
Bolt had reported no injuries, according to deputies.
West Walworth Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
