The Geneva City School District says a staffer at the West Side School, as well as another student at the North Street School tested positive for COVID-19.
Both positive results were learned about early in the week.
Officials said the staff member was last at the school on Tuesday, November 10th while the student was last at the building on Friday, November 13th.
“The Department of Health has begun contact tracing and will notify any contacts with potential exposure. If you have not been contacted, no further action is required on your part. The students impacted at West Street School and North Street School have been quarantined by the Department of Health and have moved to a remote model of instruction until Monday, Nov. 30. Impacted families have already received notification,” the district said in a statement.
No other information was immediately available.
