Health officials in Steuben County say nursing home administrators failed to report six deaths caused by COVID-19.
That news was revealed on Wednesday, as the total number of active cases in Steuben sits at 179.
The health department said the six deaths occurred at the Corning Center for Rehabilitation between September 30th and October 17th.
The total number of deaths in the county now sits at 80.
