Homecoming will be celebrated in the Bloomfield Central School District.
While the Coronavirus Pandemic has prevented traditional festivities from taking place – the high school there has found a unique way to increase school spirit.
Normally, floats would be decorated for a parade. Now, storefronts along Main Street are being decorated.
“It’s different you know your senior year you’re expecting a fun homecoming. You’re finally the big seniors in the school, but now we always look for the best in every opportunities. So we’re still having fun, we’re still keeping up our school spirit,” said Marissa Willix to News10NBC.
A group of teachers will judge the results and announce a winner over the weekend as students and classes compete against each other in a socially-distant, safe way.
