The Seneca County Industrial Development Agency gave the green light to a package of incentives for a solar project in Fayette.
While the project still needs final approval after a public hearing – the PILOT agreement clears a major hurdle.
The Delaware River Solar project will include a 5-megawatt farm. It would sit on approximately 9 acres of land along Canoga Road.
There are a number of pending solar farms in Seneca County. Other proposed sites include Seneca Falls and Waterloo.
