For the fourth night in a row, frost is going to be a serious possibility for a big part of the Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, and Central New York.
A frost advisory has been issued for many locations in the region including Cayuga, Seneca, Yates, Schuyler, and Tompkins counties.
Temperatures are going to fall into the 30s and 20s in some locations.
For counties in the Southern Tier, like Steuben and Chemung, a freeze warning is in place.
A freeze warning means that temperatures below 32 are highly likely for the warned area. These conditions will kill unprotected crops and other sensitive vegetation, effectively ending the growing season.
