The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Ontario woman following a report of a disturbance at Casey Park in the Town of Ontario.
Tammy L. Parham, 37, was arrested after deputies responded to Casey Park for the report of a female verbally abusing others for not social distancing and not wearing masks while using the playground.
Deputies say Parham was reportedly upset that other children were within six feet of her children. It is alleged that she began cursing and yelling at the parents of another child for being too close to her children and not properly social distancing themselves from others.
Parham was subsequently arrested and issued an appearance ticket for disorderly conduct.
She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Town Court at a later date and time to answer to the charge.
