On Friday, public health officials in Cayuga County announced five new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, as well as one hospitalization caused by the illness.
Officials said in a press release that there were 34 people in mandatory quarantine, and another 11 in mandatory isolation.
It brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Cayuga County to 175.
