A study by Wallethub is not kind to New York’s early education.
This comes weeks before students head back to school.
It found that after comparing all 50 states in the U.S. in a number of metrics – New York ranked among the bottom 10.
In fact, the state ranked as the 9th worst for early education.
It compared the share of school districts that offer a state pre-K program, the number of pre-K quality benchmarks met and the total spending per child enrolled in pre-K.
