Girl Scouts adapts to summer without camps, but is unsure what the fall will hold

Girl Scouts is just one of the many groups in New York State that have been adapting to ‘virtual’ activities.

Jaime Alvarez, who leads this region’s Girl Scouts organization, says they are in the dark about operation this fall.

She told Finger Lakes News Radio that troops have done a great job of adapting to online meetings and activities that will continue as life returns to normal.

Girl Scouts has been running Family Camp sessions this summer. Members and immediate family members have been going to NYPENN Pathways properties throughout the summer.
