If you haven’t gotten a bill yet for Thruway travel over the last few months – don’t sweat it.
New York is still pulling them together. During the emergency shut down, the Thruway implemented emergency tolling procedures at Governor Andrew Cuomo’s discretion.
Toll takers wrote down what exit motorists entered and exited the Thruway. Now, News10NBC says that the Thruway Authority has no timeline on when bills will be released.
A couple weeks ago it was announced that motorists who didn’t have an E-ZPass would receive a single bill. Many have said that no bills have been received.
The state contends that they are still being processed.
The state is also still moving forward with cashless tolling, which officials say will be fully-implemented by year’s end.
