Lyons Farmers Market opens on June 20th

Lyons Farmers Market opens for its 46th year on Saturday, June 20th.  The market has seen many changes over the past 46 years and this year is no different.  Online shopping has been included as an option along with the open market. This gives local fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and crafts  a curbside pickup option as well as the open market.

This year for the safety of our shoppers, vendors, volunteers and staff, the market will follow the NYS guidelines of 6’ distancing and other safety requirements.  The changes you will find are the requirement of wearing a mask, a hand wash station, and unfortunately no events or entertainment.  The vendors will still have all your favorite fruits and vegetables available. They will be pre-packaged so that you can be assured that your fresh foods has only been handled by the farmer.  The Community Co-op at Newberry’s will be available during the market hours serving coffee, breakfast wraps and quesadillas.

Open Market Hours are new for 2020.  It will be 9:00 am to noon.  As the Finger Lakes Region begins to reopen, these hours are subject to change.  For online shopping, the shopping hours are: 11 am Tuesdays thru 11 pm Wednesdays, with pickup at William & Church Sts. 8:30 am to 10:00 am Saturdays.  Online shopping: lyonsfarmersmarket.com.
