The Geneva Police Department reports the arrest of a 35-year-old city resident following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Police say Shawn Sutton, 35, who had no permanent address at time of arrest was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense – both felonies, and second-degree criminal contempt – a misdemeanor.
He’s accused of violating a court order of protection by going to the protected party’s home. He was also wanted on the felony charges for violating a court order at another point in time.
He was held at the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
