Wayne CSD appoints Dr. Joseph Siracuse to serve as superintendent of schools

The Wayne Central School District Board of Education has selected Dr. Joseph Siracuse as their next Superintendent of Schools.

Dr. Siracuse continues his work with the Wayne Central School District, with over 19 years of commitment to the school community. During this time, Dr. Siracuse has served as Interim Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, High School Principal and Ontario Elementary School Principal. Previously, Dr. Siracuse served as an Elementary Teacher for the Waterloo Central School District. Throughout his career, Dr. Siracuse has developed and mastered many skills, including strategic leadership, instructional planning and support, curriculum development and overall school organization.

“It is a true honor to be selected as the next Superintendent of the Wayne Central School District,” says Dr. Siracuse. “I’ve learned so much from my Wayne colleagues and students over the past 19 years, and I am extremely excited to continue our collaborative work. The Wayne Central School District is a special place, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve the District.”
