Tessy Plastics is chipping in to the fight against COVID-19.
Their efforts in Cayuga County will help mean more people get tested.
The manufacturer announced that it would also hire 200 employees to help. By the end of this year, the company will be producing COVID-19 test kits at its Auburn facility.
The Auburn Citizen reports that officials with the company say it will take approximately 15 weeks to get online.
