Spectrum is still hard at work, but they are doing so with proper protections in place.
The company says its workers are still making select service calls, but operations are now centered around self-installation instead of professional installation, to reduce the amount of time workers have to spend in customers’ homes.
If a technician is needed inside a home, they are armed with face masks.
At the time of a service request, customers are asked if they are sick or under quarantine. If the customer is sick when the tech arrives – they will do everything they can to help the person without entering the home.
“We are continually communicating and educating our staff on best practices according to the CDC health and safety guidelines, such as proper hygiene and social distancing,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “We are encouraging all technicians to take their temperature at home before reporting for work.”
