Police: Canandaigua man violated court order, charged with felony contempt

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a city resident following the violation of an active court order.

Michael Drake, 50, of Canandaigua was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, after sending an unnamed victim threatening text messages.

Due to the court order, Drake was charged with contempt.

He was subsequently arrested and held at the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
