Police: Canandaigua resident threatened victim with knife during dispute

Police report the arrest of a 54-year-old Canandaigua resident following a disturbance on Bristol Street.

Elaine Mulheron, 54, of Canandaigua was charged with aggravated family offense, a felony, following the incident.

Investigators say Mulheron was involved in an argument with another person. At some point during the dispute, she threatened the victim with a knife.

They say an active order of protection was also in place, prompting the felony charge.
