It’s going to be an active weather day in the Finger Lakes – as high winds and rain enter the forecast.
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning and Wind Advisory for different parts of the region.
- Cayuga, Seneca, Ontario, Yates, and Wayne counties are all listed under a Wind Advisory at this time. It runs until 8 p.m. The NWS says gusts upwards of 50 mph will be possible.
- Monroe County is in a High Wind Warning and could see damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph.
