Schools throughout Ontario County are shutting down later in the week to deal with the ongoing threat posed by the Novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19.
Schools throughout the county announced on their websites that buildings would be shut down from March 18th through April 13th.
A morning half-day is planned on Tuesday, for students to pick up belongings and materials after teachers use Monday as a planning day.
“This will provide teachers and staff the opportunity to prepare materials for students to have during the school closure period,” a message read on one of the district’s websites.
